Upcoming Events

Lots going on this summer! Keep scrolling to see all of our offerings.

Stitch’n’Kvetch

July 10, 7:30–9:00 p.m., Sketchpad

We will create with our hands while we pour our hearts out. No knitting or embroidery experience required. Working on a non-stitch-related piece? Bring it along!

Shabbat Dinner for Grownups

July 19, 7:30 p.m., Hostel Earphoria
RSVP here

Join us for a fraylikh justice-share Shabbes! The Workmen’s Circle comes from a tradition of recognizing social justice as the center of Jewish life. You are invited to bring some learning (low stakes!) on an organization, Instagram account, community group, or any justice-speaking space of which you’re a part—we’ll share with one another where and with whom we spend our time, and create a compilation of recognition for the rad spaces we love in Chicago. Come make music with our very own David Ladon before he leaves, and bring a nosh to share. We believe that knowing who our people are is a radical act in a secular world—turn up and Kumt un Farbrengt Mit undz (come and hang out with/join us).

Family Picnic

July 21, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., Hamlin Park

Join us for an intergenerational potluck in the park. We’ll enjoy music and family games, too!
